Erica is an author/illustrator and RISD graduate specializing in stories and art about animals and the natural world. Her mediums are pencil, pen and ink, and watercolor with the occasional acrylic thrown in for good measure. Erica has a particular interest in non-fiction (she is perpetually curious and loves researching to learn new amazing facts).
She has written and illustrated two picture books, both published by Henry Holt in 2003 and 2005. In addition to picture books, she would love to illustrate chapter books or book covers in the future.
Erica is now offering professional proofreading services for all media, in print and online.
She lives in Bucks County, PA with her husband, three children, and one sweet rescue dog who is scared of everything. When not writing or painting, or shuttling her kids around, Erica enjoys spending time outdoors, hiking, birdwatching, traveling, gardening, baking, and eating anything made of chocolate, or bread, or bread + chocolate.
